MY SERENDIPITY is one of the very few iconic and stunning Azimut 116 model.
The yacht was designed by Stefano Righini and built in 2008 by the renowned Italian shipyard in Viareggio, then used only privately as a day boat in Indonesia, before she was purchased by a very knowledgeable serial yacht owner who once owned an Azimut 116 and was still in love with this model. From October 2022 until April 2024, she was extensively refitted at the Seven Stars shipyard in Pisa where she was brought back to a “like brand new” condition. The interior was also entirely repainted and redesigned by Margherita Casprini. During the 18 months and 1,950,000€ refit, the yacht was fully repainted (hull + superstructure + interior), the teak decks were rebuilt on the sundeck, aft, bow and swim platform and recalked through the rest of the boat. All exterior furniture, cushions and upholstery were also replaced. Her interior design was completely changed and repainted to introduce lighter and more modern colours from ceiling to floor. She now offers an elegant style , accompanied by stylish brand-new furniture, creating a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.
With her impressive interior volume of 260GT, MY SERENDIPITY can currently accommodate up to 14 guests in 6 luxury cabins, including a full beam master suite with its private access and located on the lower deck, along with 2 VIP cabins and 2 Twin cabins with an additional pullman bed each. All cabins are situated on the lower deck, apart for the 6th cabin which is on the main deck forward and currently used as a TV room / Office, featuring a large sofa bed and a pullman.
This high performance Azimut 116 is loaded with great features, such as spacious sunbeds on her sundeck, along with a fully equipped bar and a 12-guests dining table under a wide hard-top with skylight electrical roof. A full-size garage door is integrated to the stern with beach door. The yacht just completed her RINA Classification survey and is registered under the Cook Islands Flag. Powered by 2x MTU 16 V 2000 M93 engines of 2400 HP Diesel each, she is capable of an impressive top speed of 28 knots and offers perfect comfort and stability underway and at anchor, thanks to her 2 hydraulic digital ABT Trac fins (zero speed). Both engines have very low hours and just went through full service by MTU, while the 2 generators were entirely rebuilt to new and the entire AC system was replaced. She is operated by up to 6 crew accomodated in 3 dedicated crew cabins on the lower deck with separate access from the guests areas.
